Addins
The WOW interface provides a lot of ways for controlling the game and monitoring what's going on but the existing interface doesn't suit everyone. Fortunately Blizzard in their wisdom left it open so that people could make and share their own custom modifications for the game interface. Addins exist for a variety of purposes. Some people are understandably cautious about addins that come from outside Blizzard but if you select carefully, you can build a very handy range of interface tools to enhance your enjoyment of the game. Some have their own installers, while others need to be manually copied in to World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns under the folder where you have installed the game. Below are a selection of addins recommended by Dawns Light Brigade officers.

• Auctioneer - An addin that scans the auction house to determine going rates for items on sale and then uses this information to help you decide on good prices to sell your own items at so that they have a better chance of selling for a good amount.
• Atlas - An addin that provides maps of every instance and other areas in the game to help with instance runs. Especially useful when used with Atlas Loot which allows you to browse through available items that might drop in an instance.
• Mobmap - Helps you to locate NPCs and items for quests or other purposes by hilighting them on your map.
