STANNARD.- On December 22, 1930, at Queen's Park, Mary Elizabeth, widow of the late William Benjamin Stannard and loving mother of Isabella (Mrs. Beasley), Edgar, Ellie, Nelson, Arthur, Poppy, Hazel and the late Joseph E. Stannard (killed in action) ; also mother-in-law of W. Beasley; aged 64 years.
STANNARD. '97On December 22, 1930, at Queen's Park, Mary Elizabeth, beloved sister of Nellie (Perth), Mrs. E. Powell (Victoria), Robert, and Senator Crawford, of Queensland and the late C.H. Crawford and Sapper G. Crawford (killed in action).

The Late Mrs. M. E. Stannard.
The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary Elizabeth
Stannard, an old and highly respected resident
of Queen's Park, took place in the Church of
England Cemetery, Karrakatta, on Wednesday
afternoon, December 24, in the presence of a
large gathering of friends. The chief mourners
were Messrs. Nelson and Arthur Stannard (sons),
and Misses Ellen, Poppy, and Hazel (daughters).
The pall-bearers were Messrs. W. H. Turner, R.
Crooks, J H, Wright, L O. Thyer, A. J. Brady,
and F. Palmer. Among the many present were
the Rev. T. Goy. Messrs. S. Beasley, L. G. Trou-
chet, J. A. Wright, L. Goy, R. J. Middleton, C.
C. and A. Windbridge, and many others. The
Rev. L. A. Marina, of Queen's Park, officiated at
the graveside.
The funeral arrangements were carried our
by Donald J. Chipper and Son.
